Regarding part of the earlier post by AJH:
There's a misunderstanding that I read in this post and somewhere else on the board.
It's true, footage of Layne has been removed from the Rooster video that's currently playing on the Re-Evolution tour and The Acoustic Hour shows. It's also true that footage of Sean & Mike Starr have been removed, along with almost all footage of Jerry except for early in the video when he's speaking about his father.
This wasn't done to intentionally slight Layne (or Mike & Sean), it was done to take the focus off of the band and put it more on what the song is about; Jerry's dad, and war in general.
Additional footage of the Viet Nam & current Iraq war have been inserted, and the video ends with the words NO WAR on the screen.
If people coming out to the shows are seeing the video and feeling that Layne's omission is sending some kind of message, or if you're reading about it here and getting the wrong idea, please be assured that the only message the band is trying to put across is that war is an awful thing.
Hope that clears things up.
