Okay, here is an idea. How about under the General Discussion Forum, everybody gets their own thread that people can visit that resembles a "Blog"? Like the Queen of Mods PunkyLunky could have her own thread and people that love to read her posts can visit her thread directly everyday. Then, (this is where the mods come in), you could just delete all the posts like once a week. That way no re-structuring of the site would have to happen and it would be cleaned up every week or so.

You could start with just the mods get their own thread or something to see how it works. What do you think?

I do have a couple of questions, Jenn.  Are you talking about us (mods/admin) creating a sub-category forum where any boardie can create a thread for a blog?  Or do you mean to have a new capability added to the boards where you can easily access/read/search for specific boardies' posts rather than reading through an entire thread for a person's posts?

    I am only trying to jazz ya'!! All the mods are equally great.. and I really mean that. What did you call it? A thankless job for sure!!

2) No, my suggestion wouldn't require any extra capabilities. Other than someone refreshing or deleting the posts if it got out of control. I guess my main goal was to organize all of your ( and all other equally great mods) thoughts on current events or posts into one thread. That way you wouldn't have to surf threw all the posts if you didn't want to. If I wanted to know what any mod had to say today, I would just click on their thread.

Just to add another idea to this.... The mods (or whoever) that might have their own BLOG could email friends direct links to view them everyday. This would bring in a lot of traffic to the site!!
