Hmm. Well I decided to create a blog because I needed somewhere to share the amazing concert experience I just had. Be warned ahead of time that this post is going to sound like a girl who is completely awstruck. I just had the most amazing Tuesday of my life.

I went to Paganfest last night. I really love folk metal so this was a big thing for me. I mainly wanted to see Eluveitie perform. Me and my folks went because we are concert buddies. So we went to Cleveland for this show..got there around seven. It was so cold and we had to stand outside. The tour buses were right out front though. So Rafi and Sevan from Eluveitie were waving at us from inside the buses and they later brushed past me as they went to go inside. We finally get in the place (and it was def. a shitty venue but popular)..I met up with this guy I was suppose to see. He was very nice by the way. So we are hanging around at the bar just talking and Rafi comes up to me and says he likes my piercings. I smile and say thanks. At the time it didn't register to me who he was. It was dark, everyone kind of looked the same, and he was a twin. But anyway, so Eluveitie was the first band to perform and I went to go watch the performance. It was beautiful. One of the best performances I have ever seen..for such a small band they worked the crowd. When their set was done I ran intot he lead singer and talked to him for a bit..then went back to the bar. At this point, my mother is now a fan of Eluveitie. She was dumbfounded by their performance. So she see's Rafi and Sevan the two brothers from the band..and goes to get their autograph. I told my friend to hold my seat and I ran up with her. I didn't have anything on me for him to sign..so I got him to sign my damn chest (Sounds hilarious, I know.) So we talked for a good while. I had mentioned that I was hoping they would have their new album at the show. But, they didn't. So he gave me his personal myspace and told me to message him with my address..and when he got back to Switzerland he would send me one since I was so nice. He kissed my hand and was definately a gentleman. So we parted for a bit and go back to the bar. Then out of nowhere..he comes up to me and asks if HE can get a picture with ME. haha. I said yes of course..and I go join this crowd of large men. All of a sudden as I'm standing there he lifts up one leg and is holding me in the air (like a bride being carried over the threshold) I was utterly taken aback by that :lol So his friend took a picture on his phone. He put me down and told me I was cute. I laughed and we parted..I went back to the bar. Well at this point I was so happy at how nice these guys were that I went to buy one of their 30 dollar tshirts. So he and I talked some more here and there. Then I decided to leave early because I was only really there to see them. He gave me air kisses and big hugs.  He was so beautiful..ahhh. I wanted him to take me back to the motherland. haha Overall, it was just a fun night. I really enjoyed myself and I loved how the bands were so friendly and goofy.

Right on, I love stories like this - it will stay with you forever...... that's awesome!

I worked my charm. But he doe's have a lady friend back in Switzerland. Bless her soul, I really admire women who are able to maintain relationships with traveling musicians. It sounds very demanding. But he is a nice guy nonetheless..and he's a friend now! He might come get tattooed sometime.. 

It is so rare to meet musicians who just act like regular people. I still can't get over that night. The funny thing was I was meeting a guy up there. We happened to both be going to this show and we have a lot in common..So we were going to hang out up there because it was a public atmosphere. I hope the Swiss men didn't scare him off..haha

Sarieee hun.. *hugs* You were the star! OMG.. that's amazing! :D It does seems like you had a wonderful and magic time. That's great! :P I don't know.. maybe it's just me, but the swiss guy liked you!! haha You def. gained his attention. :D

And wow.. that's great that your pseudo-date see the effect you cause on men. So, he better be ready and aware otherwise he'll be gone...

Yes, I think the Swiss man did have a crush on me a bit. But I had a crush on him! So it evened out.

I got a kick out of it Sludgie, my "date" (his name is Chad)..he was like "wow, those swiss guys really like you eh?" there was a pause..and he said "does this happen often?" ..and I couldn't help but laugh.

But Chad is a nice guy..he brought me 30 cds and two books and I just met the kid lol.

>.< On another note, my throat hurts today..I was either singing too loud or I'm getting sick.

So, I went to see Megadeth last night. Very exciting show. I was really sick..and lost my voice..now I can't even speak. Dave Mustaine was amazing. They didn't allow cameras and the crowd was extremely lame. Nonetheless they showed off their lovely guitar skills <3

That's gay they didn't allow cameras in. The Megadeth date I went to you could, but I forgot to bring mine. But yeah, it definitly was a sick show, I see your date had the same setlist as mine. Chris is an amazing addition to Megadeth also

Sucks they didn't allow cameras.. :( But you have your memory.. Ah, it would be better if you had the pictures and the memory but.. well.. You'll have another opportunity, I'm sure. :D
