OH I love Prison Sex. The lyrics are just about everything to that song. Thats one of my fav parts, I only find it appropiate to the content and subject matter o the song.

Morrison is also one of my favorites, another original. He liked to push peoples buttons on occasion. That version of The End was edited and not on their first album although he did sing those lyrics live. Morrison's dad pretty much washed his hands of Jim when he heard those lyrics. Off topic, I was out in Venice Beach last fall, Morrison stuff is all over the place(like the below big ass mural), pretty cool. It is a very weird mixture of cool people and psychos out at the beach there. LOL

hey jess...i like that song too, and i like to pick the lyrics apart on most tool songs and study em...haha. to me that song is a metaphor for molestation/rape and how people eventually seek empathy in performing the sick evil acts to which they fell victim. the cycle of abuse..."i’ve come round full circle, my lamb and martyr...".  pretty powerful song.

yeah man i like the doors music a lot (the la women album is my fav). morrison’s voice is so unique, and his lyrics are gold...

venice beach is a good time!  i went to college close by one year. the best thing to do there is cruise the boardwalk and watch the freak show!  it’s a mecca for hippies and that’s why there's a lot of 60s stuff. but there’s really all walks of life that go there as you know and that’s what makes it so trippy. there’s this pretty famous street performer named perry that hangs out there (or he used to)...he walks around with his geetar in a white bathrobe, turban and cowboy boots...and if your lucky he will follow you around and rock out a little song about you. he did it to me and my ex g/f once and it was one of the funniest things ever.

I may have seen that guy, except he was on roller skates this time around. During my first hour on the boardwork, I had about a dozen various "propositions". LOL. Hollywood was cool too, got a chance to see th Whiskey-a -Go-Go where it all started for many a band. I will have to put my Doors stuff back in the rotation. I have a few bootlegs including one with Jimi Hendrix playing with Jim Morrison, "Woke Up This Morning and Found Myself Dead", Morrison was pretty wrecked in that performance. The Doors stuff is fairly ecclectic, neat band. Rock on.
