    Destrophy

This is probably a long shot, but anybody here like or even heard of Destrophy? They just broke up a few months ago but the two cds they put out were excellent.

Meh I went to listen to them right now on their Myspace and I didnt really like it. Only listened to it for about 20 seconds tho. Maybe i'll change my mind if I listen the whole thing. It still doesnt get any better than Lamb of God and Children of Bodom.

Imo, those aren't their best songs. They weren't really a super heavy metal band. I guess you can say they were industrial because they incorporated electronica into their songs. But the term doesn't do them justice.

Of the 3 songs on their myspace Why I Hate Goodbye is my favorite.

Yea when I read melodic metal, I was actually pretty intrigued. I love melodic metal. Then I play those songs and they arnt really melodic at all. Kind of a bit of a let down. I love finding new bands that I like Frown

It's just those songs, really. The chorus in "Pray" is melodic though.

Dude I know Destrophy! I can't believe someone else knows about them! You're talking about the band from Iowa, right? If so, they're no longer broken up and they're stronger than ever.
