Bush - Institute - Gavin Rossdale

I love Bush! Nirvana ripoffs they may be, but they sure do a damn good job at it. I'm listening to Razerblade Suitcase right now. Greedy Fly is such a great song. Although Comedown has to be one their best songs. It's so damn perfect. I wait for the day Bush gets back together.

Anyone here Gavins new band Institutes new album? I have it. Pretty damn good. I don't see the difference. It should have been a Bush album. I recommend "Secrets and Lies" and "Ambulances" to anyone. "Bullet Proof Skin" sounds like "Everything Zen" part 2 to mme.

    Gavin is great. Enough said.

I remeber when Razorblade Suitcase came out, it was friggin huge.

I can't stand Institute though. It's somewhat too Helmet sounding and after awhile every song sounds the same. Nothing really there to pull you into the songs. I think 'Ambulances' is one of the more interesting songs on the album though.

I was listening to them today. I have 16stone, Razorblade Suitcase, and The Science of Things. I mainly listen to the first 2 though. The need to play "Little Things" more on the radio. It's one of my favorite songs of theirs.

"Razorblade Suitcase" is a really great album, but while they are ok, I havent really been that impressed with their material since (both Bush and Institute). It sounds allright, but for some reason I quickly become tired of it.

I still really likes Gavins voice though

Whats up Fuzhi Im Andy. When I think of Bush I think of the 1990s. My favorite music with grungs and alternative and hard rock. Certainly Razorblade suitcase was a great album but lets not forget about sixteenth stone. Which gave great songs such as Little things, everything Zen, comedown and Glycerine. But I really like the song swallowed and the remix of mouth. Write me back let me know what you think. Huge Alice in Chains fan, Andy

I totaly agree with you about Little Things. That song rocks and it deserves more radio time. The science of things was alright but not their best. Whats your favorite AIC album and song. Have you seen them live? I saw Pearl Jam live 3 times. Never Aic though. But they are coming to Arizona so I gotta check them out. Andy

Whats up Andy here, I think Bush helped to push rock to where it is today. Hard Rock is about all we have left except the fact that Grunge is making its comeback with AIC and Pearl Jam. Will STP and Soundgarden be next. I sure hope so. But back to bush. They have their own style and they know how to get the crowd into a song. Comedown is the first song I ever heard from Bush. I bought the album and it stayed in my CD player for two straight months. Bush, its time to make your comeback we are all ready for it

I love Bush (not the president..hehe..bet they wish they had come up with a better name now!!).....Love Razorblade Suitcase and Science of Things (esp Dead Meat and The disease of the dancing cats)....not keen on Institute meself, I think Bush had a more 'likeable' darker grungier sound....bring back Bush instead!!!Laughing

I like a hand full of some Bush tracks. I did manage to buy the Institute cd. Not bad. I like 'Come on Over" and "When Animals Attack." Too bad it didn't last longer. They sold like 50,000 huh?
