    The Cure

The music, the lyrics, Robert Smith's hair, sooo great. Any other fans?

I'm curious to know what you've both heard from them .... I support them no matter what they come up with, but I confess I'm more into their old stuff.

    Re: The Cure

I heard of the cure because my grandpa had the record "Boy's Don't Cry". After listening to that I loved the cure. For some reason I love them for the same reasons I love Alice; the lyrics, the singing, and the emotion. Robert Smith is friggin awesome. And his hair...WOW does it look cool. I saw them at SBC park a couple yrs back I think it was. Grrrrreat show.

    Re: The Cure

Wow, andrew, I knew you were young but talking about your grandpa having a Cure record really scared the hell outta me LOL

I've noticed you were born in march 1987... 3 days after you were born, the cure were playing their first show in brazil... and on march 28th 1987 I was seeing them live for the first time... best show of my life ever! ;)

I cant even start describing the feelings I have when I listen to them...

The Cure are a great band. Best track: "A Forest"

Hoping to see them live once, should be unforgettable.

A Forest is one of my absolute favorites by them. Pictures of You, Mint Car, A Letter to Elise, and Lullaby are also some of the best.

Disintegration is one of my favorite Cure albums, too. Pictures of you and A Forest are for sure awesome songs, but nothing gives me more goose bumps than listening to the Pornography album Wink 100 years, Siamese Twins, The Figurehead and Strange Days are some of my favorite songs from it.

Grandfather?? Yikes. I am a blatant old person at this point. Disintigration is a top ten of all time albums for me. I saw them when i was 16 and started crying when they came on stage, i'm such a geek

How old is your grandpa? Either you guys really can't wait or he's a truely rock n roller.
