    Audioslave

The creative mixings of 3/4's of Rage Against The Machine and a quarter of Soundgarden, and what do you get? Audioslave

These are one of the better supergroups to form. Their self titled is my favourite by them.

    Re: Audioslave

I liked their second better. I don't know about Audioslave though, I never liked Rage Against the Machine.. Saw them last year and it was kind of a dissapointment, Cornell's vocals were, well horrible (and am pretty much a Soundgarden fan)... They have some cool songs, "Shadows on the Sun" is a wonderful song, I wish they'd do some more of that stuff on the next record, probably won't since it will be an Earth, Wind and Fire meeting with Led Zeppelin ..Heheh...

    Re: Audioslave

Good, but nowhere near as good as Soundgarden or RATM. They need to rock a little harder in order to get me to really like them, Soundgarden and RATM were awesome and it's hard to live up to that pedigree.

    Re: Audioslave

I was really excited when I first heard about the idea of this band when it first got out in the news. The first album was good. The vocals for that tour were absolute shit. The second album was almost complete shit...but Cornell's vocals were probably the best that they had been in years. I really think that this band isn't going to last though. Eventually Chris and the SG boys will kiss and make-up and Zach and the RATM boys will kiss and make-up and we'll have two reunions on our hands...SG being the better one since there won't be any rap. Yea, and Chris Cornell should never, ever, ever rap again. That's scary.

    Re: Audioslave

All and all not too bad -- they have some really good songs.

Completely hated Rage -- the only reason I even gave Audioslave a chance is because of Cornell (his voice is AMAZING).  Wow, I miss Soundgarden Cry

    Re: Audioslave

Ha ha ha - Cornell rapping - how wrong was THAT?!?

I love 'em - mainly cos Chris Cornell has one of the most amazing voices, he could sing ba ba black sheep and I'd buy it!

First album far surpasses the second.  I was really surprised when I heard they have another one out less than 18 months after the last one - not a usual occurence is it?

We will have to wait and see on that one...

What do you think about the Get Born Again movie?
    Jerry: Yes. It’s fucking horseshit.

A Rage Against The Machine Reunion Tour would be gigantic.

    I wouldn't mind seeing a Soundgarden/Pearl Jam Tour ;)

i absolutely love audioslave. i've seen them live before and they were fantastic.

ratm is one of my favourite bands and i'd love to see a reunion as well, but i'm pretty satisfied with audioslave.

    Anything with Brad right?  Wink

I'm happy with whatever happens... breakup of AS for Chris' solo shit and RATM reuniting or staying together...whatever.  It's all good if you ask me.

Yea, it's really wrong. I remember last year I was ripped the Audioslave webcast from the KROQ Weenie Roast, and they did 'Killing In The Name.' There was something sooo wrong about Chris doing that song...and when he did the outro 'fuck you I won't do what you tell me' part, and especially the 'mother fuckerrrrrr! part he annunciates like way too much. He just kinda sounds like a white guy trying to rap. It was funny, and very ::shudders:: at the same time.

The new Audioslave album is muc better than the last one...I really like it! Just got it now...the title track is a great song!

Morello's soloing is well dodgy though at times...
