In my humble opinion Down are immense, whats the general consensus?

Fucking love 'em!

Saw them at Download at 11.30am on the Saturday - Phil Amslemo was wasted & so hilarious.  Hadn't really heard their stuff before, but fell in love with them there and then.

Was gutted I didn't get into them a couple of weeks earlier - coulda seen them play at the Astoria.  Bet they won't be round again for a while

Yep, he still has Superjoint, but I think everyone in Down was ready to reconvene and do there thing again.

Look for Down to tour the Pacific Rim, then South America while writing two records at one time. We got tons of acoustic stuff... So we're gonna do that, re-release the first album with me on bass, re-master Down II.. and we still got the Down film to go... so lot's of cool stuff about to happen...

Down is fuckin' brutal. Something about the New Orleans scene where they have this nasty, sludgy, aggressive, raw oraganic sound going. COC, Down, Crowbar. Heavy stuff.

Cant wait to hear Down III.

Man, were have you guys been??  I had a DOWN III thread and heard from none of you!  I thought Superjoint was pretty much done, but Phil, Mike D.
