pj is one of my favourite bands of all time. they were actually the band that got me into rock music. i remember hearing jeremy when i was in 6th grade and i thought it was the greatest song ever. i'm jealous you are getting to see them richy. everytime they come around here it sells out right away.

It sold out in 3 minutes over here Nicole!

I was lucky enough to be offered a ticket by a Message Pit boardie from England because I was one of the few Irish fans that didn't immediatly complain about not being able to get a ticket becuase of the "english bastards" lol. It's a seating ticket but it's the best I can get...

    Re: Pearl Jam

we have like no festival scene.

all we have that travels is ozzfest and warped tour.

and also coachella and lollapalooza which currently are only held in one place.

    it's not that great.

I've seen Pearl Jam live on two occasions. An incredible band. One of my favourites.

    Re: Pearl Jam

Bought a ticket for their August 29th show here in Holland.... not sure wheter Im still in this country to actually check 'em out ... but Ive got a ticket nonetheless.

I do not really like their newer material, not that I have really checked everything out, but from what I heard... mwa.
But since a Pearl Jam = great live show is one of the certainties in life, I hope I'll be able to attend their concert.

Yeah, they always deliver live, and they mix up the set lists and throw in covers and all. I do like the new album, though.

    Re: Pearl Jam

Don't get me wrong, PJ is one of the best bands of all time, but they went like 10 years without releasing a decent album. They hadnt had one since Vitalogy, up until WWS came out. Riot Act was garbage. Lost Dogs was somewhat interesting. Mostly because it was rarities tho

    Re: Pearl Jam

Hm, I disagree. I've like just about everything they've put out, some more than others. I think Yield and No Code were great and I loved Binaural. Riot Act has its moments, but I'm liking the new one a lot more than that one.
