    NFL Thread

so anyways the bengals are fucking killing me. when is this fucking offense gonna catch fire. we're the best damn team in the division but injuries, suspensions, and lack of playmaking is killing us. we're not calling the right plays on offense, our o-line isn't giving palmer time, and our D isn't causing those turnoevers this year. not to mention our schedule is a beast. if we don't find a way to beat the chargers next week you can stick a fork in us. oh and CJ needs to stop the bitching.

    Re: NFL Thread

    Finally and NFL thread!
Now I can complain about the sucs... er... bucs! Their offense is waaay too young to be productive and the D is just old. I blame the loss of Sapp to Oakland for everything that has gone wrong with the D in the last few years... he would get double teamed and that would free up McFarland (who got traded this year) or Rice to get the sack! Now we are reduced to bringing a blitz wayyyyy more than necessary and blitzing this much with the Tampa 2 D just plain doesn't work! I miss Tony Dungy, and Brad Johnson!

Sorry Sludge but the Chargers will rape the Bengals.  LT (the best back in the league) is going to have a field day against that D.  Philip Rivers is going to be great in a few years.

    Re: NFL Thread

i'm not too sure abou that. lt is gonna get his 100 yards but if we can somewhat contain him while not allowing the pass game to blow up on us we'll be alright. our defense has hardly played great but they've improved. the key is our offense getting their shit together. last sunday was pretty much rock bottom and i think this team is gonna respond big time.

Bottom line is you need to feed the BALL to RUDI!  He does not get enough carrys. They focus, way to much on the pass. Went to the Hawk game on Monday, The game was as shity as the weather has been all week. Hawks will be lucky to get 10 wins this year. Driving home from the game the other night there were Salmon crossing the Highway in Fall City. If it rains anymore, I might have to build an ARK.

if they can hold it together until alexzander and hassleback return they could make it back to the SB. they got a lot of talent on that team. yeah we need to be consitent with rudi. he gets stronger as the game goes along but we're taking him and ourselves out of the game. we also need to grow up.

YOu are right about RUDI, he needs the ball in his hands 25-30 times agame. I hate that they take him out on 3rd downs so much, because he has great hands. It sucks to watch Carson stuggle in the passing game. I don't think its his fault, but more to do with play calling and forcing the ball to Chad Johnson for the big play! If the Seahawks ever get health they could get to the SB, but that a BIG????? This weeks game with the Rams is huge because only one more game this season is against a team over .500 ( Broncos) Seattle's line is a mess with all the injurys to go with Bobby Engram, Alexander and Hasselbeck out. Seattle's playoff hope's will be on the Defense, and right now the Defense sucks! Maybe if were lucky 10-6 this season. Good to have you back in the States Sludge!

I'm a Patriots fan, and that game last week against the Colts sucked ass. I don't know why Belichick didn't start calling more running plays when it was obvious Brady was off and the running game was working. He turned to it too late. FOUR INTs...Can't win if you keep turning over the ball. I can't stand Peyton Manning. They may be 8-0 now, but they will choke in the playoffs.

Love Tom Brady! Look @ what he does with the talent around him! If he had Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne Holy crap. Running Back is the best the Pats have had since Curtis Martin and Byers. Dillion, Maroney and Faulk are a good combo. The 4 INTS 3 of those were tip balls, really not Tom's fault. It would be no surprise to me if the Pats go to the Superbowl. Dogstarr are the B-Sox's going to be a player for Matsuzaka the pitcher from Japan?

Yeah, he wasn't getting enough arc on the ball. I was getting pissed, lol. I love Brady, too, and Belichick. I want one of those hoodies he wears on the sideline, but dayum, they are like 75 bucks! Anyway, I'm loving Maroney. He's a beast! Not sure if the Sox are in the running for Matsuzaka, but they, along with just about every other team, could use some pitching. I wish they still had Arroyo!

Yeah that hoodie that Belichick wears, do they sell it with the cut sleeves too? Belichick looks like a street fighter on the sideline with cut off hoodie! Rookie of the year Maroney or Colston?

     I'm suprised as well.

Don't give up on them though, they have the talent, they just need that O line to produce. if they click into gear they are deadly.

The Colts are worrying me. I'm not gonna whine about 8-0 but it reminds me of last year when they clinched too early, rested people and came out flat against Sh*tsburgh.

I hope Dungy learned something from that.

The league has been a huge suprise to me. The Steelers crashing and burning, the Eagles losing three games on last second (long) field goal. The Bengals slipping, the Vikings overachieving, the list is endless.

It was weird that Cowher went back to Roethlisberger instead of staying with Batch. I'm glad he did it because I don't like the Steelers but it was baizarre move.

The SeaChickens look pretty good for all the injuries. They might make it back.
