I haven't found any Metallica thread here...

so anybody loves Metallica? I do, I think they're one of the greatest band ever, I saw them many times live and I just can say they always kick ass! And don't forget that they also are good friends of AIC so...rock on four horsemen!!

Amen sister!  Metallica Megadeth and Alice in Chains are my favorite bands.  Metallica is the greatest band of all time!

    Re: Metallica

yes i agree.  no one can disagree that they are one of the best bands ever, however, i'm a fan of all their stuff pre-Load era... not that their newer albums are that bad, but they just don't even compare to albums like justice, puppets and lightning....IMO

garage days was such an amazing release too!

did you see the vid of hetfield singing with AIC on would?

I like Metallica old and new. From KIll 'Em All right to St. Anger...if you listen to the audio from the St. Anger DVD the songs are much better. Great band.

is anybody else here questioning the amount of respect they have for Jason Newsted?...due to his involvement in that stupid show or is it just me

    Re: Metallica

The thing I always liked about Newstead was that he was always 100% about the music. He wasn't completly biased and one of those assholes who would be like, it's not metal, it sucks. He listenes to rock, rap, and pop. That's cool that he's open minded like that.

    Re: Metallica

the show is "Rock Star: Supernova"....you know how INXS had a show before to find a new singer for their band called"rock star INXS" - well its the same thing except Supernova is a new band made up of Newsted on bass, Tommy Lee (crue) on drums and Gilby Clarke (g'nr) on guitar -

and their auditioning singers, except all the singers are total losers in my opinion.........and the show is retarded
