What an amazing amazing band -- timeless songs and powerful performances. I've been fortunate enough to see the new AIC at the three shows in San Diego beginning last year, and each venue provided a different atmosphere. Each time, the band exceeded my high expectations (except for the abrupt end because of the dicks at Del Mar). One good thing about the tour with VR is it gave us an opportunity to see AIC at a large venue and on the big tall cavernous stage at Coors. They had no problem filling it up, with that wall of stacked amps giving everybody what they came to hear. Fantastic lighting effects too. A solid setlist (my highlights were "Down in a Hole" and "Rain When I Die" and of course "Rooster"*). Obviously the show could have been longer, but I'll take any Alice I can get. What we did get was awesome. I'm still buzzing. William is really part of AIC now, and I'm looking forward to see where the band goes with new material.
*If I had known nobody was going to post the setlist I would have kept notes. Sorry.
