I walked right by Mike as I was walking to the Blue Note. I thought "Is that really him?" and I decided it wasn't since he had a hat on and his hair was pulled back (like it was during the show). I looked at him a few times though, and he noticed me (I had a Alice in Chains shirt on, so he probably thought "wow, what a n00b, doesn't even know who I am"). *cries*
The show was absolutely amazing though. I saw them in Kansas City last year, and while that was just as good, I can't stand moshing. Sorry. I just go there to listen to the music, but instead that always has to happen. But that's what I liked about the idea of an acoustic show. I got to stay in my little zone in the whole time and completely absorb the music.
That is, until the encore when everyone got crazy and some ass started shoving everyone around him, including me. But whatever, it happens.
Jerry handed me a pick, then threw some in the air and I caught one. That almost makes up for missing the opportunity to talk with Mike.
