Re: Kansas City, MO (Uptown Theater) 10.21.07

    Amazing.

I thought the crowd in Columbia was good. The guys just seem to be getting stronger and stronger as they go. They kicked my ass all weekend long.

I cannot thank the band enough for this little run. 7 shows now since last November, I couldnt be happier.

Ill need a few days to recoup, getting old, I hope to have some pics and maybe audio up later in the week.

    Touring's hard, isn't it? LOL

I bet every show had a different energy to it, too...

Cool, I'll keep my eye on here for the goodies to come ~ thanks Mr Green

I just got home from the Kansas City show and literally just registered on this site to give a short review. I've never seen AIC live before but I will definitely being seeing them again. They put on an AMAZING show tonight!  The crowd was really into it and the band really seemed to feed off the crowd's energy. I'm not sure who the opener was because I arrived a little late but he was interesting to say the least. Not really my type of performance but anyone who gets onstage and sings is OK in my book. I've been to many many show and this show is in my top 5 of all time. Great show, great performance, great venue, and a great band.

Helll yes!  Show was awesome!  Had front row between Will and Jerry.  STILL lovin it!  I was hoping the guys would come around back but they didnt.  Ended up with a pic and drumstick.  Sean noticed my shirt from 1989 and he let me know then Jerry said something bout it over the mic.  It was great.  My girlfriend got a stick too but it was plastic and had rubber on it.  AHHHH!  Show was sweet!!  This is my fifth reborn Chains show and I will go to every single one I get the chance to.  Crowd was awesome too and all of the people around us in the front were real cool.

For the guy that posted above...the first opener was the guy that sells the merch and the second were local guys from Lawrence, Ks.  Grant Fitch from PAW and Eric Mardis from Split Lip Rayfield.  Both local bands.  PAW is not together but Split Lip is.   There was some MAJOR asshole that chucked something at Mardis and nailed his guitar!  I mean it was hard!  Assholes.

Another great show.  This is the third show I have seen in the past year.  I flew in from Chicago to see the show.  I got a drum stick from Sean before the first encore basically since I was about 8 inches taller than everyone around me.

My sister and I waited for two hours after the show waiting to see if we could get some autographs, but was denied by the band.  We did however receive free disposable rain ponchos from the security since we were waiting in the rain.  Still a great show and experience.

    Alice at the Uptown

The boys rocked the house!  I have now seen AIC three times within the last year and each show has been kick ass and downright awesome.  I have loved them forever and will tip my hat to them always!
