YesKudos to Will for stepping in so neatly and looking so good.  He's brilliant, cute, and he rocks out loud!  He fits in beautifully, and I hope he stays.  That's my 2 cents.  Me go now.
AIC is not my obsession.....its more important than that.

Re: My Name is Duvall . . . William Duvall

Nothing personal against Duvall...I just can't pretend not to be bitter about him and the whole AIC reunion thing. To do a show or two in Layne's memory/reunion is one thing, but to go on to record an album (due out in '08 or '09) with a new lead who can't feel the music nearly as Layne could..to me is distasteful. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is for me. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, of course, but a part of me wants to look away when I see Duvall try and sing "Junkhead", or some other deeply personal song of Layne's. There are limits, I believe, and lines not to be crossed..and in some ways, I think the line's being stepped over...anyways, no hard feelings to anyone in particular; I'm just, as I said, "a little bitter."

PLEASE NOTE:  This subject has been discussed over and over - let's be careful not to start "that" argument again.  Also, let's remember the purpose of this thread is for appreciation of William.    Angel

    Thanks!  Rock on!!

Re: My Name is Duvall . . . William Duvall

I've been politely informed by another member that the site members came to an agreement to put the Duvall issue to rest awhile ago..sorry to re-hash any animosity...surely didn't mean to do so. Duvall does seem like a great guy, and doesn't have a bad voice at all; for me, it's not the issue of him; just the issue of replacing Layne. Just wanted to clear that up...but I'll give it a rest, now. Embarrassed Don't hate me?

Don't hate you at all.  Just don't like your placement of the opinion.  This is to proclaim your love for the brilliant man, Mr. Duvall.  (Love you, Sweet William)

You are certainly entitled to your opinions.  That's what makes the world go round.

Don't be embarrassed. Your respect for Layne is appreciated. Williams' threads used to be littered with controversy... members opinions on this board run the gamut. We all get along for the most part despite what used to go on in threads. You could probably look back and see- some are probably locked thoLOL

    Stick around, glad your here-

    Have you seen Will perform?
