JULY

"...everything came full circle for me."

I've been a fan since you guys revolutionized rock with Facelift. The songs of AiC are as near and dear to my heart as if I'd written them myself. Sadly, I never had a chance to see AiC live when Layne was still with us. However, this summer, I did have the opportunity to see AiC at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and the next evening I drove 200 on my Harley to catch you at the next SD town over. It was such a release for me. I took one look at Sean's drum kit with Layne's artwork and I just couldn't help but feel a sadness. However, from the first chords of "Again" that first night, and upon seeing and hearing William totally tear it up out there; everything came full circle for me. Fitting that I was at that show with my best friend after not being around him for nearly 10 years. Thank you guys for bringing those songs which you found special, back to us. A special thank you to William for having the nuts to take this job on, and nail it too. You did everyone proud! I hope you guys can now carry on in peace, no matter what happens from this point on out. I love you all.

"I hope you guys put on a hell of a show..."

What's up guys!

I'm going to your show in Milwaukee, and really looking forward to it. If you had any idea how big of an AiC fan I am, you'd probably ask me to come on stage and play somethin' with you guys. I used to be in a band that did some AiC covers. Anyhow, being 28 years old, places me right in that time slot to have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. When Layne died, I called 94.1 jjo in Madison and talked with the DJ for nearly a half an hour. We were both really saddened by the news. It felt surreal because your band's voice was pretty much "singing me to sleep" in a certain sense throughout my entire twenties. I hope you guys put on a hell of a show, because I never got a chance to see you tour back in my high school days. I got the chance to see Chris Cornell play at Mandalay Bay in Vegas, nd that guy can still f***in whale. I'm sure AiC can do it up too.
